I have factory spring and do not want to lower my 05 545 sport. My wheels were rubbing my fenders so i purchased a fender rollerto find out when doing it that my r/f strut is blown out. Most likely the cause of the rubbing. What do you guys recomend. I was thinking bilstein.
Thanks, Brian

for shocks and struts our first recommendation would be bilsteins as well :)

How many miles do you have on it?

on my personal e60? Ive put about maybe around 30k miles on my bilsteins. I added them after some time running off eibach pro-kit springs with stock shocks.

:) Sorry Nerwyll quoted the wrong msg in my post  ,
I was referring to the OP as to how many miles he has on the car that the struts were blown out.

I am using Bilstein, but find them a bit too hard, esp with H&R springs....

Heard good things about Koni though and thinking about changing soon - one of my bilsteins are starting to leak....?!

I've always ran Koni in my cars, they just work
