Need to purchase OEM front/rear strut mounts and coil spring rubber gaskets for suspension install this weekend. Car has 62k miles on it, figured I might as well change out the mounts and rubber gaskets as well. Is there a better place to order these, other than going to the dealer?

Sachs are identical to OEM BMW, (right down to the lettering on the rubber and housing) and Sachs is a part of ZF Industries AG, along with Lemforder and Boge, you can also assume that Boge or Lemforder will be identical to the Sachs.

So shop by brand name as well: Boge, Sachs or Lemforder. Whichever is cheapest.

I found FCPEuro to be the cheapest when I bought mine. Don't forget the strut bumper which is made by REIN which is the OEM supplier to BMW for that tiem. (Even has the BMW logo scratched from the rubber)

I ordered Lemforder from BMP Designs, $170 shipped next day! Did the install right after work. Thanks for your input everyone.

I don't think we've been talking about the same thing. Boge/Sachs/Lemforder strut mounts on a 545i run about $30 - $35 each.

$140 for the front and rear strut mounts with expedited next day air shipping, $170 total. Am I missing something?
