When i washed my car, i noticed something really weird.
I put in the key to replace it and then i shut off the engine. After that, keys put in my pocket.
After the finishing touch of drying,... i wanted to put it in my garage again, but 'forgot' that the keys were in my pocket (and i haven't the comfort access so i supposed it wouldn't start).
So i pushed the start/stop button and the engine started!!! .
I called my son who was near me, and he could take a film with his phone. --> see attachment
Could someone explain that to me, how that can happen?

it was a common bug on 2005 e90s... this required a software update
Right it affected E60s also. There was a thread about it here. It affected cars with the start stop button built in the month of Sept 2005.
