Is your car Sports Suspension with Active Body Roll?
If so, my car has the same noise that comes from coming to a full brake stop.
Today its at the dealer so that the main Midwest BMW tech can look at it. Local dealers were not able to fix it.
I was informed by 2 dealers that the noise comes from Active Body Roll Control mechanism trying to reset itself.

I agree that something isn't right. It sounds as though something is hitting your airbox or another plastic piece. You can have someone turn the car off while you look for/ listen for where the sound is coming from under the hood. Sounds like something simple.
