Well seems like it may not have actually been a tear in the space time continuum then...

I'm going to try and reproduce this right now by pressing the key and holding it.

Yup, holding the unlock button will open all your windows. And indeed, holding the lock key will close them all again.

Pity - I quite liked the old haunting theory.

If you hold the unlock button for some time the windows will all roll down. But if you hold the lock button they won't roll back up, you have to place the key in the door key hole and hold it in the lock position and the windows will go back up.

yes !
i had this problem for at least 5-6 times, and it happened during summer. sent to dealer for repair, they just scratched their heads...they checked everything, and all ok. i think it might be related to some chip/control unit mal-function due to hot temperature.

yes thats happened to me a few times, when im the front hallway of my house, my mobile often presses down on the button and the windows go down and car unlocks
