I've already picked up the odd one or two after 2500 miles.

Fortunately these son't appear to have reached bare metal.

What do you guys recommend in the way of remedial action (products need to be available in the UK)?

Buy a touch up stick from your BMW dealer then buy a Langka chip repair kit from Frost Auto Restoration Techniques This works pretty well.

You can also have a clear bra installed that willl absorb this kind of thing.
It's also called rock guard, Armourfend, transparent bra, etc.

You should be able to find a local installer.

I had many areas of my ride covered. It works.

The idea of a Notts lad in a clear bra makes my eyes water!

ROFL, perhaps like McDonalds, clear bras will be popular in the UK. At the moment, nope! :D

You might be surprised - just search on the word "nylon" and you will see Jonboy's previous posts regarding his most un-natural habits.
