Stolen Tow Hook covers

My Ride: '08 528i, Alpine WHITE
Just looking to see if anyone else out there is a victim of having their Tow Hook Covers stolen??? My front cover was stolen, then 2 weeks later the rear cover! I know they're not expensive to replace, but it's a pain to have to have them color matched/ painted. And, is it coincidence that my front & rear covers were stolen?? Just venting, thanks...

Isn't about being cheap.Not much about the e60 is cheap. Now I question if my e60 is being targeted. Its just a $15 piece, no big deal.my e60 isn't modified (yet) like most of yours out , there, but what if it was??

Have you searched Ebay or CraigsList to see if there is a seller's market for these things??
Maybe a BOLO on other BMW forums is warranted!

I have a friend at Open Road BMW and he brought me in a front cover, black ( mines Alpine) I popped it in and it looks pretty nice to me... May help from getting stolen again?! Lol!
He's the one who noticed the rear cover missing, I'll ask him if he can get me a rear one too!!
