Hi there!

Sadly tonight after i parked my car on a lateral street, non lit, with light traffic, on my return after 1 hour or so i found my side mirrors stolen. ONLY THE GLASS, not the whole mirror. I am very very sad not really for the money but more for the birocracy i have to put up with now, and because my car was perfect until now.

I need asap regarding some facts.

I don't have auto folding mirrors (electric folding) and also i only have the in car rear view mirror with auto dimm ( the thing when it gets darker when strong light hits it). So i would appreciate your help, because i want to buy them with my money and skip the insurance because of all the birocracy.

I would like to know (especially frome europe owners) how much would those mirrors cost (only the glass) and if i can upgrade to auto dimming mirrors by buying only that pice pf glass. If so i would like to know the prices. I really need them badly.

Thanks for the input.

I'm afraid you have to order new ones from your dealer.

I dont think auto dimming will work. If i'm not mistaken auto dimming is controled by some light sensor.

I don't want to talkt about that again. I was on the verge of saying goodbye to the forum because i was so angry. I never lied a thing about that...and i wanted to defend myself and after 1 hour of replying and checking the spelling and making sure i don't let room for interpretation the topic was locked. I didn't mind th locking thing but i wanted to get to say smth before. That would have been the right way...the right to defend myself. I HATE when i am acused of lies when i know i told the truth. Also after that i made another topic just to show my dissapointment and that was erased. Saying this i'm concluding and ENDing this discussion. I will think twice before i'll post another driving experience next time

Don't joke, maybe some bastard will take you seriously... What insurance company is that? You know that you must wait 30 days for police to clear before insurance will do something, right?

I'm sure they wont let me advertise the name of the company.

I NEVER intended that someone should actually do that. I was just trying to be sympathetic to a fellow countryman that was so unfortunate.
On the other hand, i'm pretty sure his mirrors were "ordered". So i think there is no chance to find them on eBay...
