Still haven't floored my 550i. Do the wheels spin in 1st?

Have had my 07 550i for 2 months now and have yet to floor it. I've floored every other bimmer I've had but am scared to do so for some reason with this one!

Depends how hot the roads are. On the Florida roads, it is difficult to break loose the tires during the day. How have you now floored your car yet!?!?!
You can have a lot of fun with these cars. Especially in the rain!

Pretty safe to floor from a standing start in most conditions with the default safety features on...turning them off though you will definitely get it to spin!
Just be careful!
Don't floor it at speed, on a corner, in the wet even with everything on, In the words of Mr Scott "Ya cannae change the laws of physics Jim!"

the wheels will barely spin with dsc on. the wheels will try to spin but the cpu will redirect the power to the other non-spinning wheels. Now if you hold the dsc button for three seconds, turning off all cpu assist, you can freely spin the wheels as much as you want.
