Hi there! The steptronic is my E60 2006 has difficulty in shifting up. When I accelerate, the auto transmission tends to hold the gear for too long and will only shift up if I let go of the accelerator. The transmission is also jerky during normal driving. I've tried the 25 sec reset, but did not have an effect. Any thoughts of the cause before I send the car in?

I would definitely bring it in for inspection. No question. How many miles?

My E60 523i has about 20K miles. The problem occurs in both D and DS.

That should not happen with 20,000 miles. Bring it in to the dealer!
