Steptronic best mode

I think he means hit the gas and double shift down using steptronic?

By when my car is in M6 on the highway and you slow right down for traffic it will not shift lower by itself like when going too slow in the other M gears.

maybe ... but if you hit the gas and the tranny knows you need power, it should down shift for you.

I drive D 99% of the time.

If I want to do something that requires a little more response, I'll slap it into DS. When the manouver's completed, right back into D mode.

Works for me...

DS mode for most around town driving. D for the highways.
