I've had the wheels balanced twice in the past couple months and am still getting vibration in the steering wheel. Wheels are true also.
What's a possible cause?
Thanks in advance!

read member Aharper's thread; he had vibration, turned out tires were the cause. Where did you get your wheels balanced in Nor Cal anyway? Equipment used to balance the rims can also be the cause.

Tires being bad, wheel slightly bent can cause vibration. This will just narrow down the search since its the steering wheel its most likely the fronts where if you feel it in your seat then its the rears.

are you using hub rings? if not do they require hub rings?

how were they balanced? road force? smart weight?

No hub rings. They're OEM 172s and aren't bent.
I got them balanced at Discount Tires, not sure what method they use.

Check if they balanced with smart balance on or off. Could be tires as well.
