I read that there's an extra button on the steering wheel that can be programmed to perform an optional function. But I think I read that it wasn't working properly yet. Can anyone confirm this either way? Thanks!

2 buttons are programmable -- how much so depends on the toys installed... for me it is simple: one mutes current audio source (with the cd & cd changer it actually pauses: nice!) and the other to repeat the last nav instruction

oh, yes, lots of things work -- most, in fact.

i am getting great mileage and, now that i am used to the drive and have passed 1000miles i'm impressed even with the power of my baby 2.2l - you pop it and she does go - and the handling is brilliant.

none of the irritants warrant more than emotional reaction, and primarily due to the crap service levels demonstrated by, so far, two dealers... I've not heard back from either regarding my queries

but, the car is, in the immortal words of eric cartman... "fine... just fine".
