hi guys, i'm having a strange problem. my steering wheel goes back to my previous memory setting position (it's little lower than i want) when i start the engine. it happens quite often. i have to press the memory "1" button to make it goes to the position that i wanted. has anyone experienced this before? thank you.

 

I've had three 5 series 97,02 & 04. Unfortunately, all of them do that. On my 545i if I don't have the steering wheel at the farthest position ( farthest from me) it seems better.

 

pennetta, i had a '97 5 series before but it didn't give me this problem. even better is that has three memory settings instead of two . i think bmw is getting cheap now . i'm just wondering if update the software will solve the problem.
