Hi,

I have memory seat on my 04 530i and as far as I'm aware, and the manual corroborates this, the steering wheel position is also saved along with the seat (and mirrors) position when using the seat memory function.

The problem I have is that the steering wheel position is not saved, no matter how many times I have set it and stored the memory, it always reverts back to the original position. This position is as low as it will go. If I adjust the wheel up, when I turn off the ignition it will revert back to the low position. As a 6'3" (192cm) bloke it is extremely difficult getting in and out of the car with the wheel in this low position, let alone driving with it.

Am I doing something wrong? Why is the postion not stored? Help!!
