Steering wheel options

Is the sport steering wheel better than the standard one (normal E60 not M5) ? And if yes, why ?
I am looking in ordering a 530xd (family car) but I really want the steering wheel to be heated, and in order to have that it seems that I only have two options: either the standard or the sport steering wheel could come with heating (the third option, the M steering wheel, doesn't come with heating at all! - pretty strange to see that such a great and expensive car as the new M5 doesn't have a heated steering wheel by default ...).

Go for the heated Sports Steering wheel. I have the Sports Wheel and choose it because of two reasons a.. faster turn in with smaller wheel b.. Smaller wheel gives you clearer view of dash.
If you jump in one car with Std wheel & another with sport your soon make your mind up

The heated wheel is the best! Feels so good on a chilly morning!
