Steering wheel coulmn repair
 

had some problems on my 520d 2007 with the steering coulmb. the auto shop recommended full steering coulmn change that cost alot. so now Im in a "war" with the dealership I bought the car from so that they pay the bill. Im just wondering if anybody else have had the same problem on 520D. its done 232 000 km and I got the fault at 218 000 km.

What kind of problem?

By Norwegian law, I have 5 years warranty if the car is bought from a dealership :)

the car wouldnt start and on the dashboard it read ''ELV is inhibiting engine start'' the car wouldnt start what so ever. it cost me about 3000 $ fixing it.
