Did anyone here also have their steering malfunction light turn on for no reason? I turned off my car and then back on and the steering malfunction light went away.
Another problem that I had a while back was that my powere steering died on me onece a while back and when I shut my car off and then back on, the problem went away... Very strange?!
Any suggestions as to why I'm having these problems? Thanks

I had this happen a month ago and also yesterday. Took car to dealer this morning and found that my steering fluid was almost empty. Dealer topped it off and it seems to be ok now. Funny that message would go away when I stopped car, turned off engine, and restarted.

I have found that this happens when you start your car and turn wheel immediatly; I.E. when already rolling.
