Steering Clunk

This may have been covered before but I did a search which turned up nothing.
My 545i Motorsport (Active steering) has developed what I can only describe as slight clunk in the steering when cornering, it doesn?t seem to affect how the car is driving and only appears when steering over un even road surfaces. It?s like a click..
Could this be upper control arm bushes? The car has done nearly 60,000miles.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Most likely is the lower steering column link. The universal joints have a habit of drying out and causing the symptoms you describe. If out of warranty the dealer will relube it, if in warranty they will replace it.

Thanks mate, I will have it looked into.
Unfortunately for me the car is out of warranty, the dealer did a pre purchase inspection for me and noted the control arm bushes were warn but upon proper inspection they were found to be fine so maybe it is the steering column.
