Anyone find the steering a little stiff on the e60?
1st off... BMWs are known for having meaty steering but this is not a bad thing as it contributes to road feel.
Many of us buy BMWs because the steering is not over-assisted like most other brands (especially in the premium segment)
One thing to remember is that steering weightiness is also directly related to tyre width.
What size wheels and tyres do you have?

I am however happy that the entire E60 line uses R&P steering. Big improvement from the Re-circ. ball in the V8 E39.

My sister 330i convertible is stiff has hell compared to e60. It felt like I was turning 20 lbs of rocks! E60 is NOTHING.
But e60 is stiffer than most cars. Benz isn't as stiff. BMW is known to be a drivers car and they are suppose to be stiff.
Drive a camry or some lexus, those wheels are loosey goosey!
