Doesn't the City or State reimburse you for wheel damages caused by public roads?

Ok...some good, some bad.

Good:

The guy Dan is one hell of a nice guy.
The quality of work is pretty good, especially the powdercoating.
Cost, to me, isn't a lot.
Turn around time is pretty quick.

Bad:

Color doesn't match AT ALL. It's a few shades lighter. I think that's par for the course with custom painted wheels and was kind of expecting it.

I'm ok with the color not matching, as I actually like the lighter version since it makes the wheel look bigger. I'm going to have them true up and powdercoat the other 3 wheels soon. For $125 each, I'm not complaining. It beats the hell out of a donut spare any day of the week. I may even have them do my 172s in this color while having them refinished in the future.

Dam I just saw this thread now I'm late. I'm sorry to hear about the wheel but at least it's fixed now, I will be buying another set of miros but 20s this time...I just hate the fact that they are so soft! I wish they were made just a tad bit more durable....if your tired of those 172s sell them to me haha seriously though

Had all 4 of my 172's straightened and refinished by the same company in the Cleveland area for the same price. They did a great job matching the OEM silver. However, these roads are horrible, especially in the spring time when you decide to switch over to the summers. Have to go back to him after the dealer did an alignment and told me all 4 were out of round and are causing some vibration.

Our roads may be the worst in the universe but our public sector employees have world's best pay and benefits!!

BTW, I use the seeclickfix app on my android smartphone to take pictures and notify the "right people" about issues like these. Check it out! http://seeclickfix.com/citizens

That's exactly why you should have stuck with 18" wheels
