So my car has been at the dealer for nearly two weeks. I went to the dealer today to see what was up and my SA told me that he ordered , a new fuel pump, new fuel injectors and something else that slipping my mind right now and it would be atleast another week since they didnt have the parts in stock
Guess I will have to show up to tomorrows meet & greet in a enterprise PT cruiser

fyi- My car has also started doing this, where it occasionally cranks for a long time, say about 5 sec before starting. It is a 535xi wagon with about 1500 miles on it.
I will respond back after it's debugged.

Hey Nolan........last year my car started to crank longer (2-5 seconds) before starting on occasion, and within a week or two it started happening more often and crank longer. One day it would not crank at all and made clicking noises as if the battery was dead, even though the interior lights ,etc. didn't look particularly dim. I took a chance and replaced the battery with a new one and that fixed it all. It's been fine since then.
I know your's probably doesn't have the same problem as mine........the dealer would know if the battery were bad, but I just wanted to let you and others know that in general these cars are much more sensitive to even the slightest dip in battery voltage than other (older) cars.......so the battery voltage may measure OK and the lights (when the engine is off) may not look dim like they normally would with bad batteries, but the battery can still be bad.

Finally got my car back the other day. They ended up replacing all the fuel injectors!!!! The car drives awesome.
I?m so happy to get back, especially after driving in a PT cruiser for nearly three weeks
