Hey Guys,

My name is josh, and im currently trying to track down the perfect 08 550i. I figured i see tons more online being they are just coming off lease, but stock is still limited. My budget is under 40K with under 35K miles, Few options I need are (Sport,Navi,Comfort,PDK).

I narrowed down one car with all the correct options and miles with the dealer and I meeting at 37K OTD, but the interior is grey I HATE grey! Anything but grey im open too. Anybody wanting to get out of an 550i? Or any leads to one being forsale in your hometown are greatly appreciated.

Also, is there any must have option on this car other then i mentioned? Any big recalls or anything i should be concerned about before purchasing? Im being CPO so i should have a trouble-free ownership for some time, and with the current 0 maintenance on CPO cars wont be bad either!

Josh these cars have everything you need and more. The prices are great the mileage is great and I think the color combos are gorgeous. CPO and $0 cost plan I say buy one of these NOW lol!!

 

^ I contacted both dealers last week. Tenafly did not want to bug even $500 off there price to complete the sale. The one in ohio was just straight rude and i refused to deal with them.

 

Definitely shoot for the 08+ Sport model. The pre-08's do not have a sport specific model (sport package only) nor do they have the mid-lifecycle model refresh. A buddy of mine bought an 07' 550 sport package and it significantly different from my 08 sport. Also IMHO I would not buy the "car of my dreams" unless I loved whey bit of it including interior color. Good luck!

Luigi524td, thanks for the link unfortunately that has way to many miles for me. I contacted Tenafly again this morning since i noticed they did lower their asking price compared to couple weeks ago. I offered them 35K OTD + tags/tax crossing my fingers. Im not a big fan of that color combo, so if they dont take it its fine with me.
