Staggered wheels on XI?
#1
I tried to search but it didn't work' sorry if this has been asked 100000x before. If you guys could point me in the right direction i would apprecaite it.
I have a 528xi and want to know if i can run 20x8.5/20x9.5 setup Miro 935 or if i could run a 20x9/20x10.5 . Tire sizes most likely 245/35/20 & 285/30/20.
Thanks in advance.

Really? I'm on staggered setup like forever from the get go and have no problem whatsoever ...
X5 on staggered from the factory and also there's Style 124 available for E60 xi specific so no stagger limitation for awd.

tire sizes need to be same diameter with all wheel drive. and staggered dont work on xi usually.

Really? not sure where you got your info but just thought you might find the following info helpful:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=36&fg=15
especially item #2 I'm pretty sure any dealer can verify the p/n are real in existence.
Yes you are correct 'bout the diameter and I didn't doubt that ... but as you already know you can achieve the same objective to have the same diameter on a stagger setup.

i specified that the tire diameters need to be the same size or close to it. and the 124 style for the xi have the same width rims front to rear, not staggered.

At least member KU530 & Saridi that I know were one of the 1st who got staggered 20" on their lowered XI back then ... nice look too
Right ... I think they were on 275 width too ...

I havent seen anyone here that has 20's on an Xi .. Most members here like myself have 19's, but if you can pull it off more power to you. Although with the high offset, 285/30/20 might rub in the rear.
