I own an 05 545 with 68K miles. The Dynamic Drive fault has been coming on intermittently. I brought it to the dealer today and the tech told me the stabelizer bar needs to be replaced. He said the seals are broken and the hydraulic fluid is leaking. To replace the part it's $2200. Is this a common problem? Since the car only has 68K miles why would it go so quickly. BTW, I do NOT beat on this car. It's in absolute mint condition. Doesn't it seem a bit odd that the price to repair is that high which is about 10% of the value of the car. Are there other options?
