Hey JDN,

What about us diesel owners?? We're feeling left out you know

530d - no brake squeal and NO tyre noise from my Dunlop RF's either (thought I'd expand upon the potential noise issue).

Good point. You can blame it on my ignorance -- I'm no Rudy. I thought that the 530, 530d and the 535d plus the 525 might all have similar brake disks, or at least smaller than the 545. I thought about it, but didn't do any research before posting the poll.

Welcome Bilal!

Thanks for the advice! They did check my sensors on my last dealership visit and the brakes did not squeak for a few weeks. I am going in tomorrow for an oil change and some other issues. Will mention the sensors again and post my results. I am also test driving a 545. Very excited! Will bring my checkbook just in case!

Bilal, welcome to our forum. You are correct about the brake sensors. I complained of the noise to my dealership and they replaced it under warranty. No sqealing anymore!
