Allright all you tech guys out there...

BMW just issued a Service Bulletin on the issue of brake squeaking in the front wheels with cars that have greater than 25K on them. Per my SA,
the solution was (a) live with it and (b), change pads, sensors and rotors.

The kicker is I took my car back before the 50K warranty was up and they changed the sensors and the pads [not the rotors], because the bulletin wasn't out so they claim they knew no better.

The problem never went away so I took it back and now they tell me about this bulletin. The part that sucks is the car has now got 50,400 on it and they want me to pay for the rotors....

Has anyone else had this problem? Are there other fixes like buffing or polishing the rotors that may work? I think changing the rotors is a touc excessive but I hate the noise and want to get rid of it like yesterday...

Help, comments and advice are all appreciated...
Minimal intermittent squeaking at low speeds on my e60...and yes BMW tried to screw me into paying for rear brakes and rotors ($1000.00)on my other car not long after it was out of waranty; I had asked them to change them when they did the fronts 2 months earlier
