Hi,
I have a 2005 BMW 530i E60 and when the brake pedal is depresses, sometimes it makes a creak or a squeak....
I have tried taking the under dash panel off and spraying WD40 on the pedal joint but this has not made any difference.
Its a plasticy type creak when pressed that can be felt through your foot!
Any one else experience this? Did you manage to resolve it?
Someone suggested Silcone spray but not sure how that would resolve it.
It seems like the bushes are creaking against the metal on the pedal shaft and are causing this but I am uncertain how to reolve it....

My Ride: 545 2005 Model. Full spec so happy with as is.(for the moment!)
The joys of owning a BMW, the slightest creak and we notcie it !!! Not had this problem myself but silicone spray is the way forward.
Hope you get it resolved.

I get the same "squeak" and can feel it in the pedal. It's random and doesn't happen everyday and I can't replicate it.

It seems to be coming from the clip and the pin moving in the shaft as the cotter pin type clip is loose.
I seem to have managed to stop it.
I had to take the lower under dash panel off and spray WD40 and Silicone spray on the brake pedal linkage.
It has a pin and clip linkage at the top of the pedal which clips onto the main brake servo.
The clip was loose and pushes left to right and as the clip and pin are loose, it appears that the plastic squeaks when the pedal is gradually pushed.
Depending if you have left or right hand drive car! my car is right hand drive!
When taking off the panel under the dash there are screws located in the following areas:
Two under the small drawer to the right of the steering wheel.
One to the left of the steering wheel.
Then pull the clips from under the steering wheel itself
There is one under by the footwell near the pedals.
These are the ones that can be seen.
The final one is hidden by the small carpet strip that about 10 / 12 inches from the one that is under the footwell.
Just get a screwdriver under the bottom part of the carpet and prise carpet away from console and you will see the final hidden screw.
I was going to take pin off and replace but diidnt bother in the end
Be careful not to get silicone spray on brake pedal itself as this will make it slippery, put a rag around it to soak up the spray.
Hopefully this help resolving this if anyone gets it in the future
