I would get a BMS powerbox from berger tuning (google it cant remember the site) I have the n52 engine and had a SB in the past and now have the BMS powerbox.
It is a "chip" that you install into your ecu--piggyback style can be removed easily-that has the same function as the SB--however has 3 different sensitivity settings that you can choose from AND it also has a engine tune that gives about 10 hp/10 torque. It richens a/f a bit and advances spark timing. Its like 300 bucks which is almost the same as the SB which doesnt offer any engine tuning.
The car truly feels completely different with this-largely because of the throttle remap-which does a MUCH better job than the SB which I found jerky--the BMS is smoooth--but just sensitive which is perfect. money well spent

has anyone bought one and not liked it? i got mine today and i don't really understand what it is doing. i mean i follow the concept, but except for a dead stop WOT (where i can feel quicker acceleration), there is still a lag in any of the modes when i want to accelerate from a roll.
anyone else have similar experiences?
