The hyperblack is a great color, it goes well with the shadowline trims and smoked led side marker. I love the X3 black tips and need to find one of these for myself.
+1 Hyperblack wheels are looking good on your car... and +1 those tips are siiiick..

+1 ... yeah what's the ebay link??

So here is the ebay link. I made an error on my original post! The tips are OEM for the X5 rather then the X3 like I mentioned. Please make sure you research your specific model because these tips just happen to fit over the OEM <OVAL> tips I have. If you have a 535 or 545, chances are these will not fit. Also, before pulling the trigger on ebay, I suggest giving Frank Jershe a shout and seeing if he can do better. He offers e60.net members 25% off OEM parts. He most likely will ship quicker/cheaper as he is shipping from the midwest.

OEM p/n: 18 10 7 503 584

To answer your question directly, yes they are. Don't buy these as direct replacements for OEM. They need the OEMs to fit correctly. It is not the cleanest, but it's not a bad short term fix for those chrome tips. Eventually, a powdercoated exhaust will take it's place

lookin' good....so which kit are you getting?
Thank you for the compliment....on the kit...NOT SURE So many people are going with the Uminitza M5 kit, I just don't know. I am most likely going to start with a front lip rather then a full kit. I am actually considering an ACS lip. Not many have this here. I also very much like the M5 lip. The M5 would be about 2x the cost I suspect. What would you suggest?

Nice mods. The black 5 badge really works well, nice contrast (unlike my black badge on black paint job which by my calculations would be 0% contrast ). Loving the black tips, gotta get myself some of those. Oh no, you've put me in a modding mood. Crap. I said I wouldn't.
