you are correct about looking all-right for a 5 year old car. I parked next to a 2009 550 the other day at the dealer, and my car did not look out of place or dated. the Bangle design gets lots of mixed reviews, and I have to admit, it took me a couple of years to warm up to it, but I think it will stand the test of time! The F10 is hot, don't get me wrong, but it is like a smaller versin of the 7 series. The e60 is its own animal.

great pics, I bookmarked this thread so I can figure out where to install the M5 spoiler I have sitting in my garage! did you install the nose and skirts yourself?
Yep, took a little while and a few test fits and adjustments but I spent some time gathering other people's posts and BMW directions for removing the nose and side skirts so I had and idea what I was doing. It's not that hard but you do have to know where all the screws and bolts are and like anything mechanical there is an easy way to it if you know what it is.

My car doesn't have a BMW roundel anywhere on the outside.

It's funny watching people pull up next to the car and look it over with a puzzled look or ask their passengers. They speed up to try and look at the car then drop back. Or they jam on the brakes as they are going by to try an get a better look. I have people ask me what kind of car it is at stop lights. I just tell them the truth, it's a modified BMW just like an Alpina

Hamman makes a cool looking black badge I was considering but my son wouldn't let me change, he likes the Alpina.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, I built my car to look like yours because you all did such a nice job on your cars. All the Mtech and M5 nose jobs drove me to it !!!!!

They look the mutts nuts man, how long was the job of fitting the bumpers? And i notice you have parking sensors, are they a perfect fit in the rep bumper?

I did the bumper over the weekend but I was taking my time. Now that I have done one you can probably do it in a day. A lot depends on if you have headlight washers and PDC although the PDC was pretty simple. A bit of trimming mold flash around the holes. But I spent hours screwing around with the headlight washer flaps and they still don't sit perfect...

Not changing the rear bumper, I like the OEM. If you look at the car from the rear 3/4 view the lines of the side skirts tie into the lines at the bottom of the bumper. Plus my Dinan exhaust has tapered tips that match the taper of the OEM bumper.
