WHOA!! Someone's got some new M5 rims for his 550i! NICE! I'm still considering whether or not to upgrade, but after checking out the prices for tires, I think I'll hang onto the Style 124s for a while. By the way, how's the ride/handling vs. the stock 18s? Do you find yourself driving "normal" as if you had the 18s on? I guess another way to rephrase that would be: do you continuously scan the road ahead for potholes and drive more cautiously?

I ripped through my favorite patch of road this evening - on Sheridan Road just north of Tower Road there short stretch with a bunch of twisties as the road dives down into a ravine near Lake Michigan - and it was a blast. I pushed it about as hard I would ever care to and the new wheels and tires were only just starting to get interested in what I was doing. I was at my limit even if they were not. I love driving this car.
