just changed from driving a merc to a e60 two weeks. i had hoped to stay away from problems, but bad luck seemed to be following me. Got to the car this afternoon, the sports package grill was missing. not so bad, as it only costs 17 EUR, but why would something like that just fall off, or why would someone steal it??

Yep, they steal them from one guy and then sell them back to the other guy they stole from--usually indirectly.

If you have Active Cruise Control, I think you're supposed to remove that piece anyway or it covers the sensor.
