Sport Manual Mode? Do you drive in it.

I have been driving in sport and manual using the paddle shifts and it is a lot more fun.
Also I like how the car rev matches once i downshift.
My question is do you let off the gas when the car shifts, and two who else drives like that, or do you all just leave it in d and drive.
Last few days I been driving completely sport button on and manual shifts. Car feels so much more lively.
Is there a problem, or am I putting wear on the transmision like that?

All of the time! Light to light, it's much nicer, since you get great engine braking in 2nd going into corners. I hate the automatic downshift on full throttle, but I've found ways to avoid that.

I mainly use "M" mode on highways to dip in and out of lanes especially behind slow ass semi's. But its also dangerous because me personally it doesnt feel right going under 80-90 mph while in manual, its like you HAVE to go fast.lol But it most definitly is a blast to drive that way.

Most of the time brotha I hardly drive the car so when I drive it, I drive it like how it's suppose to.
I just hit 100k on my SMG 545i. I'm getting my new clutch and flywheel done next week because it's starting to slip (wear and tear maintenance). Only issue I had on the SMG was the hydraulic module which was $$$$!
I don't drive my car on automatic mode because because it's too uncomfortable and unpredictable as far as gear changes. Paddles all the way lol.
