Sport Automatic gear box + M pack
#1
hello everybody, Does any one have a picture of the new sport automatic gear box for the E60/61 with the M pack? Iask that, because i need to Know if the stering wheel stay the same(the M one), or is the "simple" one. With no "place" for the thumbs. It's a cheap option(140?), but don't want it, if it isn't the M stering wheel.
Thanks for your help.

The first official E60 sport automatic cars were just built in June. I imagine there will be someone taking delivery soon in Europe and in about a month in the US...

I think I have seen pictures both way...
In the 2008 US brochure it has a pic of the wheel with the paddles and it definitely has the thumb pads. See page 48. The wheel in that pic also didn't have the silver trim.
But then I think I have seen it somewhere else where it was just mouting the paddles to the existing sport wheel with teh silver trim.

You're right about both - The first version is with the M-pack and the second without M-pack where you have a "Sport wheel" with silver trim instead of the "M sport wheel".
So will a US 550 sport with sport auto(paddles) have the sport wheel or M-sport wheel (thumb rests)?
