Default speedometer / all displays not working / electrical problems

After completing a 3day long repair on my other car, now it seems im having some electrical problems with my 07, 530i.

speedometer is out, all displays are out including idrive display screen. No turn signal sound nothing. I fee like im driving a shell with a nice motor.

The headlights work, signal works but both are hard to tell unless you step out of the car and look.

can this be a fuse?

Charge the battery and see if those symptoms persist.

I think the battery is ok, car drives as it should. Just no speedometer or gauges light up.

Are you saying the headlights aren't bright?
Alternator/voltage regulator may not be working right. Take a volt meter and check the voltage while the engine is running.

When the voltage is not enough, various [electrical] components are shut down.

Have you checked the fuses for the dash instrument panel?

I opened up the glove and got access to some fuses, but I'm completely lost to which one I should be checking.

I'm hope its just a fuse replacement.

the only lights not working are in my speedometer and the small display in the middle. The idrive powers up but not readings. System info is blank like it was reset

There is a fuse guide in the trunk lid. Open up the trunk and look on the inside of the trunk lid. There is a compartment that holds some tools and it also has the fuse diagram.

Thanks for the tip!

Strange thing happened today, speedometer decided to work again, but engine light came on but then went away after a few restarts, also had to reset the clock etc.

just to trouble shoot the issue, I went out and got a OBD1,2 scanner and did a scan

I don't know if its related but the scanner gave me the code U112B
(Lost Instrument Pack Status)

no idea what this means.

Sounds like issues talking to the instrument panel electronics. I would find all the relevant fuses and pull and check them, one by one.
