160mph on the M6 or M1 with my E60 on the way back from Alton Towers
160mph with a 645ci on the M1
175mph on the M1 with an e46 M3
155mph on the M1 with Audi A5
190mph on the M1 with Lambo LP560
155mph on the M1 with Rolls Royce Phantom
185mph on the M1 with Audi R8 (two weeks back)
185mph on the M1 with Ferrari F430 (two weeks back)
loving the new road surface on the M1
i did post a pic on the forum a while back of the clock on 160 in my e60.
Gonna be a daddy soon so no more speeding for me...

Have you ever taken any of them upto Santa Pod or Silverstone to post some laps?The new black stuff is great, but not the average speed cameras!

While I am new to the forum I have been searching for some information on speeds lately. We are planning on taking several cars to Beeville for "The Texas Mile" either next month or for sure in October. I know my 06 550i will not set the world on fire, but I will be curious to see what it does in the mile. As far as my own history with cars and 5 series.......
88 535is 115mph
02 X5 4.4 125mph
06 550i (onyl had a couple months) 100mph
The fastest I have ever traveled was in my mom's 1971 Avanti II back in high school at 154mph

In my e60 M5 I "imagined" my HUD said 174 on the way to Vegas... The limiter did not work very well apparently. Sadly the car I am driving now has a limiter that actually works and I hit a wall at 160 
(e63 AMG).
