Just did this a couple of days ago and my goodness, the last 2 that are buried are really a PITA to get to, really need patience and the correct tools.

Take a look in the DIY section; 2 good threads about it, including the PITA one too.

At what mileage is this recommended? I have a 08 550i with 47K on it.

yu, look at the DIY, and just remember to have various tools (length etc... is IMPORTANT)

I was driving to Vegas it was 105 outside, slowly pulling out of a gas station my car shut off or stalled whatever you call it. I had to start it up again. Is that because of failing spark plugs? I notice my car wants to shut off at times during really hot temperatures and especially when I try to accelerate slowly from a stop.
