My Ride: BMW 535d, Titanium Gray Metallic, Auburn Dakota Leather, Poplar Wood Trim, Executive, Vision line, Heated sport seats, Star Spoke Style 122, HiFi 10 speakers, nokia ck-7w
Maybe I am wrong, but I can't find out much information about the HiFi sound system option. It is a system between the standard en the prologic 7.1
Is there anybody who has experience whit this system, I have ordered it
in my car but I have never heard the deference whit the standard system.
Here in Holland it costs 795 euro and you get 10 speakers (hifi active)

Thats not faire.If you buy an Mercedes E you have standard 10 speakers.(No extra cost)The 5-series has standard only 6.
But yeah like i said Mercedes is better in details but BMW has his good driving pleasure.

It's not the number of speakers that matter.
We've got the HiFi version, and it's pretty good. The difference between the Logic 7 and the HiFi version is lesser than the difference between the standard stereo and the HiFi version
In other words, pretty ok value for money.

My standard supposed to come with 6 speakers, but I found 8! 4 at the front: 2 tweeters and 2 mids; 2 subwoofers under the seats; and 2 (coaxials?) at the rear. Someone please tell me where are the 10 speakers in the Hi-Fi located.

In US, Hi-Fi system (10 speakers) sounds much much better than MY2004 3-Series HK sound system. I drove that car as a loaner for two weeks and steering is not precise as E60 although it's faster but very bumpy.
