Sound from rear part of car when opening door

When I open the front driver door (engine is off), why is there a sound that comes from near the rear of the vehicle. It sounds like a hydraulic lift sound. 
Is there something that is adjusting when the door is opened? I have auto rear sunshade. Could this be the reason for this hydraulic like sound. Just curious.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
I doubt it has to do with the sunshade.
My two pennies go for the gas pump or some
other electrical devices in the trunk.
Do you have a CD changer?
You may also located the sound wrong.
There are also stuff happening with the AC
before you start the car (and after you closed it).

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front.
Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.
Actually I notice this sound too, I will be curious as to what it is.
I only have premium package and xenon on my car, so don't think it's the ARS or sunshade
