Default SOS Malfunction Issue

So I had fuel from a container tip pour into my tire well in the trunk which ended up in the electrical compartment BMW so nicely decided to use. Anyways I no have the SOS malfunction issue and have no audi or stereo functionality or beeps. Its stuck on CD and I cant pick any other option (radio, am fm, aux). I got a new communication module and swapped out the old one but still the same issue. Any help in regards to what might be the issue or a reputable audio shop in NJ or MD who might be able to troubleshoot and help resolve this. Its been months and I am tired on listening to road and engine noise.

What electrical compartment and what module did it spill on. I would think the module that got wet is your issue and to take it out and dry it like you would a phone that got wet. Hopefully you can save it. I hope you're not still putting power to it (turning the car on with the module still plugged in) because it will just ruin it.

Well it spilt onto the communication module and the TPMS module. The TPMS works because when I disconnect that I get the alarms. However, I dont know if the communication module was affected however I went ahead and got a replacement part of Ebay but it still isnt working. This is the one that got flooded but it wasnt noticed for a few days thats why I got a new one because I believe its fried even though I dried it.

Did you code the new module. If not then it's not going to work
