Default SOS malfunction

I have a 2007 530i, Ok so I have an SOS malfunction, no music, no navigation, nothing!! The monitor is also out. I changed the fuse hoping that was the issue but that would be too easy. I know I need to replace the spark plugs too but the vehicle is past warranty and wondering if it needs a new TCU. Or can I unplug the battery and hope for a reset

about a month ago I was at a post office and i got back in my ( 07 525i ) and same error popped for me freaked the living crap out of me anyways I left the battery terminal's unplugged over night and then hooked it back up in the morning for work and didnt get any error's. also you can try rebooting i drive by holding eject button and vol button.
And Oh if you have N52 engine piece of cake to replace spark plugs

Hope this helps! Let me know how it turns out.
