My Ride: 2006 525XI silver/grey
OK, now I'm confused. In preparation for acquiring a 2006 525xi I have done quite a bit of reading on the forum. I can see that the modifications are pretty cool but plan to keep mine simple and stock to a large degree.
I think the head lamps with the inside rings are pretty cool and I'm totally confused after reading as to which affordable solution will get me the rings. No blue for me.
The idea of a real throwty sound from the exhaust is very tempting but the cost can set you back in your seat.
I'm planning to give serious consideration to the above mentioned additions and if anyone has extra parts/suggestions, I'm interested and yes I looked at the classified section.

IMHO your best bet is to PM member brabusw209amg for all your lighting questions. People who go for the exhaust option say RPi is the best, you can contact nerweezy for that. Have you removed the charcoal filter? That adds a little more sound when you hit the gas.

Welcome to the forum!
Where are you located? Many E60's are market specifc so features vary from location to location.
Are you saying the halogen headlamps you have now do not have Angel Eyes(light rings) or that you just want to change the color of the Angel Eyes?

I asked my sister to have her name added to the title so I can attempt to save from paying uncle sam at the DMV counter. There is a trasfer of sale between immediate family members here in CT. I can save over a thousand ducks if I wait the month or so before buying her Beamer.

No color changes just the rings. I'm located in Connecticut and haven't acquired the car yet.
