Somthing ate my clear coat

What would be the best way to fix this? I'm not sure what it was It looks like tree sap ate through it. It's not a paint chip so should I still consider Lanka or Drcolorchip? It's about the size of your thumb.

Could be a bird turd. Typically you'd need some rubbing compound and/or polish combined with a good buff job to get it looking decent.

as others have eluded to...try a good detail first before trying a paint correction product...

It has already eaten through my paint. What you see is my paint already gone. I used rubbing compound and polish and that's what was under it. If I find that parrot, I'm gonna shit in his nest
