When i came out and about to go shopping, turn on the car and it says low battery charging and all of the warning signs came on. The foot brake was hard and this is showing up right here.

basically not enough info.

Is the car running when you have the rock hard brakes or off? The picture shows no RPM so I guess it would not be charging. What is the voltage?

it was in the garage, and i cant turn the car on either. How come all the electrics were working fine. First time i tried to turn the car on and saw a message saying low charging something. so i turned everything off, get the key out, put the key back in, hit the brake and now the brake is hard.

I tried to jump the car with 2 cables jump connected with each other but no luck.

Your brake is hard because you have no vacuum to the brakes with the car off so don't worry about that. As far as the battery is concern I would disconnect one terminal and charge the battery over night. Then have the battery checked for amount of voltage and load tested. The car may and may not start after it is fully charged.

dude you are scaring me with your lack of automotive knowledge.

Borrow or buy a charger.

If you are confident enough, you can pull the battery and take it to a parts store to charge and do a load test after it is fully charged.

Although it will work I do not recommend it as it can harm the charging vehicle's electronics, you can put jumper cables on and leave the running car running for 15-20 minutes(lights and a/c off). After which the BMW may start if there is enough charge built up in the battery, but it could have a bad cell.

Remember positive to positive and negative to negative, last cable to be mounted is at the running vehicle. Hook it wrong and the ECM as well as your Smart key will be fried.

ur both over complicating it

:l

take out the battery

take it to autozone

say u want it charged and tested

charge will take about 2 hrs and test is a few secs

...all this can be done for the fabulous price of FREE

fuck buying a charger or a tester when others will gladly do it for free

I mention that.

Problem is when you don't know how mechanically inclined someone is... well that's why I gave options. He can just as easily have AAA tow it to the dealer and let them deal with it.
