i asked my sales about the m5 (when and how much) last time when i had my sw update. he told me not sure about when and people buy an m5 don't really care about how much the car is. in the other word, he didn't know $hit about the car .

that i'm not sure he's bs or not. but he can easily be #1 in the dealer. #1 worst service . even the sales mgr knew about that. but they wouldn't do anything since he's the so called #2 salesperson. all dealers are only looking at numbers .

[quote name='Rudy' date='Jun 5 2005, 06:36 AM']alohalc, you can remove the resudual glue with someting like "Goo Gone" or WD-40.

I can't believe Hawaii doesn't use the kind of stickers that most everyone else uses -- the kind that go on the inside of the windshield...

I like NJ's the best -- just one sticker on the driver's corner of the windshield. Don't you guys in PA have these two large stickers?

I remember having these on my car back in the 80s/90s when I lived in Hawaii. I remember the "in" thing back then was to screw-in a metal plate at the bottom of the bumper and attach the safety-check stickers there. I'm assuming that HPD has started to crack-down on that? I had a friend who was driving through Waikiki and got pulled over for that once upon a time. And from the cops' perspective, I guess these stickers make sense -- get a sense of whether the car is in full compliance or not from behind the car. But they sure do destroy the look of the car.

Actually I like California's best, NONE! No safety check and no stickers. I remember waiting in line for those checks with my Mom when I was a kid in NJ...what a pita. I don't understand why you need a separate sticker for it. Why don't they tie it to registration...if you fail, you don't get renewed??? That's what they do for smog checks in California.
