the other day i was drivng along minding my own business when someone came out from side road and smashed into me i ended up going into the wall, i have taken my car to the dealers for a qoute which came to ?16870.24 full report in the link.
Now i am think shall i let the car go as total loss or have it repaired just to point out third party have admited the liability and my insurence have confirmed this with me.

I would STRONGLY suggest totaling it out! From past experience with cars needing a repair as big as yours, they NEVER feel the same after the repairs are through, no matter how well they have been done! Besides which it frees you up for the task of finding another E60 NOW!! Now how's that for finding the silver lining!! Good Luck!!

surely the decision is the insurance companies, not the car owners?
The car has 98k miles on it and 2.5 years old. the repair cost cant be far off the market value so you have a reasonable chance it will be totalled.
Nice to see at least one other person has cloth seats
