Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

If I had caught the driver of that Astra, he/she could have chosen if his/her insurance company pays for the repair or he/she himself. Now I have to choose the same thing as for me. If I choose the damage to be covered by insurance, they will drop my bonus % on my annual insurance payments. My bonus % is now 70 (full), and it would drop down to 50, so eventually they would rip the price of painting from me. Besides I would have to pay an "own risk" payment instantly, which is 140?. So, on little damages like this you are practically on your own .

He already checked it and now he's wasted.
LOL poor guy is wasted... but nothing funny, those damn drivers that dont respect and take caution when driving around beefed up hot cars!

I knew it would hit Flat E pretty hard. You may have to consider counselling for him. Sorry for your situation but things like that happen in life and sometimes it is simpy unjust - so we move on.

The hunt continued today. I went to store again and asked if I could see the tape myself. I saw it and now I have pretty exact charasteristics on that car. Kajaani is a pretty small town so I will see that car again some day, I know it. That is another question, will I ever get anything back from him/her, but I'm going to try anyway.

Yes I know. I've been reading the forums and about the misfortunes of other members, and I have always thought that it's just a question of time when it will happen to me. Well, now it did.

Ok I removed my rear bumper today for a paint shop. I also removed the side skirts. Last spring the car fell off from the OEM jack and it scraped the right skirt. Now the lacquer had started to peel off around the scratch so I thought I'd take both skirts in with the bumper.
The paint shop will take car the trunk finisher too! They painted it last spring but the color wasn't the 100% match (it was a bit lighter) so they promised to take care of it for free.

Tomorrow I will take the parts to be fixed and painted and will be getting them back next monday.
