...and I'm pissed .

I was trying to get out of a supermarket parking lot and someone backed up to my rear bumper. I didn't notice it back then, but something got me suspicious about one particular situation and I checked the bumper a short later --> result: scratches that can not be buffed off. Straight through the paint.

I drove back to the store and asked if they could checked their camera tapes. They promised to do that and soon they called me back. The situation where this silver Opel Astra wagon hits my car can be seen, but not the register plate as it was snow covered.

I am so f...ing pissed because I was sitting in a car and moving on very slowly in a line of other cars. At the moment I thought that the little bump I felt was just a bump on the road. I could have gone out and checked the situation if I just had realized that he/she nudged me!!!!

That's not all...
I drove to my sister's as I had promised to help her on something. After that, when I came back to car, I noticed a giant bird poop on my hood, frozen of course. Drove home and I decided to warm it up with an electric blow heater and wipe it off with a quick detailer + mf. That damn heater catched fire!!!

Needed to vent..............

Sorry to hear about your bumper, hope you get it sorted soon.

My front bumper has also been scratched by someone, its quite a small scape but it is through the paintwork. I know how you feel.

I'm not sure of how insurance repairs work in Finland, but hopefully you have a reasonable deductible to pay. I'm sure that your car will be back in perfect form in no time! ......and we were just applauding your detail work We share your pain!

That is what bumpers are for I suppose

Doesn't help the situation though.
I had my bumper scratched just before Christmas.
My son was reversing his sister's car into the drive and hit the corner of my car.
Result: Renault Clio rear light ?5 from the scrapyard, repainting my bumper ?85 and no Christmas Presents!

Sorry to hear this news Antti. On the up side it should be an easy fix. Time to send Eric out to look for the perp.
