I was in my new dealership tonite and on the showroom - a silverstone M5, black with that funky light-colored wood trim and a titanium silver 530i -

now I would kill for the m5 but the 530i had the full aero, and guys, the rear bumper (maligned by some on the forum) looks fantastic and the kit really gives the M5 a (small) run for the money -

compared with the stock spoiler/bumper/rockerpanels the aero kit is fantastic - and the pictures on this awesome forum do not do it justice...

ok, that's it.

You are absolutely right, I saw this kit about a year ago in europe, to my surprise right when I was ready to order my new 550 it became available thru bmwna. Its a little priecy but definetly worth it !!!!!!!!

I haven't seen it in person but the photos on the web site were enough to convince me to order it with my new car which I ordered today.

It looks great and I want my car to look different (and better!)

I saw a silver 530 with the M kit and I agree it looks fantastic....had my car not been on a lease I would have definitely done that!! But the M-kit with the rims costs around 8K installed at the dealer.....ouch

You are absolutely correct. It changes the appearance of the car completely.

The local dealer has had a few M Sport equiped E60's come in incuding a carbon black E61. The aluminum trim is a bit much IMO but I could ive with it.

Not to rub it in, in Canada the full M port package is available for about an extra $6500.

I wish someone would post a pic of the whole rear of the car directly behind the car from down low so you can see how the tires look from the rear with the m kit versus the normal bumper.

I am kind of meh on the entire package. I like the front but am not thrilled about the sides and the back. The back especially I don't like, even on the M5 I did not like it. The tail pipes stick too far out from the rear of the car, they look almost after market-ish.
